    How do I list my property(s) with gottarent.com?
    Click on Add Listing in the top toolbar. If you are a new customer, you will need to set up a free account first. If you are a returning customer, all you need to do is login with your user name and password to access your account. There are full instructions available once you set up an account and/or login should you have any questions regarding the process.
    Are there any contracts?
    There are no contracts or hidden fees. Whatever time you have on your account is yours to use as you please with no obligation to purchase any further time.
    When will my listing(s) appear on gottarent.com?
    After you submit each listing, they will appear immediately. Please note though that all new and modified listings are subject to review and may be edited by our staff if necessary.
    How do I modify my listing(s)?
    You can login to your account from any computer, anytime of day and edit your listings. You can easily change descriptions, features, contacts, prices and more in a matter of minutes.
    How many photos can I add to my listing(s)?
    You can add as many photos to each listing as you'd like. We recommend you show a good cross section of photos including at least one exterior photo and multiple interior shots. Focus on using photos that help sell the listing such as a remodeled kitchen, hardwood floors, landscaped yard, the view, etc. Listings with photos are many more time likely to get rented as those without so be sure to add at least a few.
    Will my email address be available to renters?
    Although renters will be able to send email directly to you, your email address itself will not be visible. We take great care to protect our clients from SPAM by using contact forms that conceal your email
    Will my listing(s) show on any other websites?
    Yes, your listing(s) will also appear on 247apartments.com, apartmentcorner.com & gscrentals.com. Combined these websites serve over 400,000 renters during the off-season months and over 550,000 renters during the peak months. Our network of websites delivers more quality rental prospects than any other Canadian service.

    Is there any cost to renters to use this service?
    No, gottarent.com is absolutely FREE for renters to use. You are welcome to use the service as often as you please. All landlord contact information is made available to you on the details page of each listing.
    What does gottarent.com do?
    gottarent.com helps renters locate available properties in cities across Canada. gottarent.com is NOT a property management company and only showcases listings for landlords that subscribe to the service. All listings we have available will appear on gottarent.com.
    How do I search for an apartment or house for rent?
    Searching is easy! On the homepage, you can choose to start your search by clicking on the Search tab, then on the map. Click on the province of your choice on the map image or from the list of provinces. You will then see a list of cities for that province. Select the city you would like to search in. You will then be presented with a complete list of properties available for your selected city, sorted by price – lowest to highest.
    How do I narrow the search results I get to a more manageable number of listings?
    Once you are on search results page, you will see options in the left column that will allow you to narrow your search results. Complete the form and click "Refine Search" to produce the desired results. You change your search criteria as often as you wish.
    Who should I contact regarding listings I'm interested in?
    From the search results page, you can click on each short description to get more details. On the overview page, we give you the contact name and phone number for the property. If you would like to contact the property manager by email, just click on the email tab and complete the form. Please do not contact gottarent.com regarding listings unless it is to notify us of errors detected. We are not a contact for landlords and will be unable to assist you.
    I can't find any listings suitable to my needs. What should I do?
    Check back daily! We're always adding new listings and the best ones rent out quickly. We will also be launching an email notification service very shortly so you may want to sign up for that as well. It will email you when listings that match your requirements are added to the website.
